América Latina en la Historia Económica (ALHE) is a scientific journal that disseminates articles derived from original research on the material history of Latin America in order to stimulate historiographic debate, interdisciplinary studies and comparative analysis. ALHE is a quarterly, open access, and a peer reviewed journal. It is indexed in the Scopus and the SciELO Citation Index, and is Q1 in the Scimago Journal Rank, in the area of ​​History, and Q3 in the area of ​​Economics, Econometrics and Finance.
